Good Afternoon BMSS Families!
This is Principal Gunes with your weekly updates and announcements.
* Extended Learning Opportunity is to help students in grades 3-8 who need extra academic support in math and ELA. It is a free of charge tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45 to 4. Interested parents need to fill out the enrollment form (for English, para Espanol). Also, here is the weekly schedule.
* First Quarter ends tomorrow, October 19th. Make sure to keep track of your child’s progress and communicate with the teachers if you have any concerns or think your child needs extra support. Here is the directions to login to the grade book, Pinnacle. Reach out to us if you have any difficulty logging in.
* Tomorrow, October 19 is early release day. Dismissal starts at 12.25.
* There is no school for students on Wednesday, October 20th.
* Mark your calendars October 21st from 1.30 to 2.30 for Hispanic Heritage celebration.
* First Quarter Awards Ceremonies are scheduled to October 27th. Details are to come.
* Fall Festival has been scheduled to October 29th. Please see the activities students will be doing during the day and the flyer for the Trunk or Treat event. Parents need to let Ms. Steiner, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., know if they are interested in Trunk or Treat event.
* I would like to share a flyer that contains the list of applications that parent need to know about.
