Good Evening BMSS Families!

This is Principal Gunes with your weekly updates and announcements.

* Parents and students had an opportunity to meet with the teachers and get their schedules on Thursday and Friday evenings. It was a great turnout. Students who will come for the first day tomorrow will be provided with their schedules and with any help needed.

* Please click here for drop off and dismissal procedures.

* Only Kindergarten parents on the first day of school will be allowed to walk their kids to the classroom. That is only for the first day.

* Make sure your child brings his/her own water bottle. Water fountains are available to fill them out.

* Be on the lookout for the first day packets which will require your signature. They are all due Friday, August 20th.

* Please click here for some forms that may be needed as a parent.

* Recent legislation requires a moment of silence at the beginning of a school day. Please click here to see the letters in different languages.

* Here is Covid-19 procedures at BMSS.

* After school clubs and tutoring will start on Thursday, September 9th. Parent will be receiving club preference survey next week.

* Mark your calendar August 26 @ 5.30pm for Annual Title-1 Parent Meeting in the cafeteria at BMSS.

* iReady Diagnostic Tests will take place on the weeks of August 30th for 4-8 and Sept 4-10 for K-2.

* Lunches packed for students should not require to be heated up since we are on a scheduled time and kids wont have access to the microwaves.

* BMSS will be implementing Pinnacle as a grade book instead of BMSS Connect this year. Details are to come later.
