Good Afternoon BMSS Families!

I hope everyone is enjoying the season. Below are this week’s announcements.

BMSS is in process of implementing PTA committee after a while. There is going to be a meeting on April 20th at 3PM. Let front office know if you would like to participate.

Third quarter report cards went out last Friday. Make sure to have a chat with your child and take necessary actions, either praise them or make a plan if improvement needed.

Students arriving after 8AM on their test days will have to take the test on a make up date. It is important for students to take the test with their class since it will help with motivation.

Monday tutoring continues. Reach out to your child’s teacher if you are interested.

Thursday, April 14th is Early Release Day. Dismissal is at 12.30.

BMSS STEM Day is scheduled to April 14th. Students will have an opportunity to learn from different experts and experience STEM related activities. If you would like to volunteer to do some STEM activities with kids, please let the front office know. Check out the flyer for important announcements on this topic.

There is no school on Friday, April 15th.

We partner with the city of Margate. They are hosting a Community Clean-up event on Saturday, April 16th. There will be free refreshments and donuts. If you are interested to assist, please click here for details.

BMSS International Night has been rescheduled to May 23rd @5.30 at the Event Center, next door. If you would like to volunteer or make sure your country is represented, please contact front office. Also, let us know if you know of any professional dance groups that can represent any country.

I would like to leave you with the quote on honesty below:

Honesty is more than not lying. It is truth telling, truth speaking, truth living, and truth loving.” James E. Faust

Dolphins persevere, respect, and take ownership.

Have a wonderful week, Dolphins!

Warm Regards,

Metin Gunes
