Good Afternoon BMSS Families!
I hope everyone is remaining healthy and awesome. I would like to start with great news. We have received the 10 Promethean Interactive Boards and they have been installed during the weekend. Students and teachers have started using them already. They all seem so excited. The boards will definitely make the learning more interactive and fun. Below are your weekly updates and announcements.
* CogAt test for grade 2 students starts promptly at 8:00 AM tomorrow, March 8th.
* Grades 4-8 will be given a Mock FSA writing assessment this week to prep them real FSAs.
* Civics BSA test for students in grade 7 is Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
* By the end of this week, we will be sharing the final schedule of the Spring Break Boot Camp. Please stay tuned.
* The Scholastic Book Fair is next week. We will need some parent volunteers to set it up this Friday, March 11. Please let front office, Ms. Lopez, know if you will be able to help.

* Quarter 3 grading period will end on March 17th. Please keep track of your child’s academic performance using Pinnacle and schedule a meeting with the teachers if needed.
* March 17 is a Career Day and also Early Release Day. Dismissal will start at 12.25.
* No school on Friday, March 18, and the entire week of March 21.
* The 3rd quarter award ceremonies are scheduled to March 30th. Details are to come later.
* Once we run out of mask, BMSS will not provide mask to the students who choose to wear them. Parents need to make sure they provide it to the students.
* Please be reminded that hoodies are not allowed.
* For the safety purposes and to respect others, please be reminded about some drop off and dismissal procedures listed below;
No speeding on the school zone
No cutting lines
Make sure your child is prepared ahead of time
Avoid lengthy conversations, either with other parents or staff members.
