This is Principal Gunes with your weekly updates and announcements.

• Mock FSAs ended. Tomorrow, Tuesday, will be the last day to make up any missing session.

• The real FSA schedules will be shared by the end of this week.

• Saturday Academy will be in session this weekend. It is important to encourage your child to attend.

• Thursday, March 18th is early release day. Dismissal and afterschool care start at 12.30.

• Friday, March 19th is teacher work day. There is NO school for students.

• March 22nd through 26th is Spring Break.

• BMSS comprehensive Skills Building Spring Camp is around the corner. The camp is to help your child prepare for the upcoming Florida Standards Assessments (FSA). Last year’s program was cancelled due to pandemic. We are excited to extend this amazing opportunity to your child this year and are planning a resounding success with many participating students increasing their exam performance scores. Spring Camp is scheduled to March 22-26 from 8am to 2pm.
In order for us to plan accordingly and determine which grade levels to serve, please register your child by Friday, March 12th. To register, send confirmation email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. indicating;
1. The days students will attend,
2. Full Name of the student,
3. Grade Level,
4. If your child is allergic to any food

• The date of graduation ceremonies (8th, 5th, and Kindergarten) is Saturday, June 5th, starting at 9am with 8th graders. Details are to come later.
