“A Christmas Carol” Play

On Wednesday, December 2nd, the 3-6 grade students at BMSS had the opportunity to attend the classic play “A Christmas Carol” at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The play was hilarious! The director did a spectacular job at taking a familiar story and turning it into a funny modern lesson. The children really enjoyed themselves as Marley the Ghost did the “Whip” and “Nae-Nae” and Scrouge did his “Bahumbug” jig. As a special treat, the Music and Drama club were given the privileged to go backstage and take a tour by the Head Sound Director, Parrish Thompson. The students were able to meet the actors and actresses as well. Overall, the entire experience was memorable for everyone.
