Black History Month

BMSS, staff, students and parents have done it again! Yep, you guessed it right, they have put on a performance like none other before it! Although we are in uncertain times, wondering if life would get back to normal, our school has found a way to make it happen!

On February 19, 2021 our school celebrated and paid tribute to Black History Month.

This year we went to Hollywood and transformed our school into a production studio. Yes, it was lights, camera, action for our students of BMSS. They were able to remain COVID safe using masks, taping individually and remaining distant for the most part. They acted, read poetry, danced and gave some of the most interesting facts about some of our African American Heroes! This year was extremely special, seeing how our students could be so high spirited and focused in such a different social setting.

It just proves, BMSS Dolphins can do anything they set their minds too! Also, we have some exciting news, if you were unable to view or chime in on our zoom to see these wonderful performances, you’re in luck, as we will share the link with you, and you can catch the show anytime. Feel free to share and like our page! Thanks again, stay safe and stay tuned for what’s next at Broward Math & Science Schools!
