Good Afternoon BMSS Families!

This is Principal Gunes with your weekly updates and announcements.

* We are excited to announce that this year, the Literacy Department has put together a calendar of Celebrate Literacy Week Activities to be implemented Districtwide!
   Tuesday, January 26 - "Read My Shirt Day!" - Wear a SHIRT WITH WORDS so others can read it.
   Wednesday, January 27 - "Reading Makes Our Future Bright!" - Wear SUNGLASSES.
   Thursday, January 28 - "Be a Good Sport and Read!" - Wear your favorite SPORTS TEAM shirt.
   Friday, January 29 - "Get Lost in Reading!" - Wear CAMOUFLAGE.

* Mark your calendar January 29th @ 1.30 for Poetry Slam event. Please join us via Zoom;

* Saturday Academy will be in session this weekend.

* Attendance is vital for students to show progress. We need parents to make sure online students join and participate in classes.
